Dear LILA Supporters,
LILA takes FLIGHT in 2008!
For an amazing FOUR YEARS, Theatre LILA has created original works
on the
New York stage and has been striving to connect communities through
the art of
live theatre! We want to thank you for your support for these past
four years and
ask that you consider how you can help keep our vision of ‘The
Art of Fusion’
alive for the next four years.
When we set out to form Theatre LILA our mission was to build a theater
company that created provocative new work and develop women’s
outreach
programs and artist residencies that use theater as a way to cultivate
cultural
bridges around the country. Well, we’re proud to say we’re
doing it! Specifically,
this past year has been one of incredible growth and accomplishment
for us and
we believe much of it has to do with the unwavering team of supporters
backing
us up since LILA’s inception.
With your support under our wings, we are looking to fly even higher
in 2008 -
reaching out to more communities around America with Theatre LILA’s
residency programs and gaining more exposure nationally and internationally
by submitting LILA productions to festivals and regional theatres.

BENEFIT EXTRAVAGANZA on April 12th at The Beckett Theatre. Celebrate
four years of Theatre Lila on this festive night where we invite
you to experience LILA’s two new works
FIRECRACKER and WONDER:lust. Enjoy two new plays and revel in a LILA
Chocolate, Cheese & Champagne Party between performances where
you’ll
meet the LILA cast and directors and mingle with fellow Theatre Lila
