Artist Residencies LILA believes that drama education promotes a sense of community and self-discovery as well as nurtures a lifelong love of the arts. We believe that theater training fosters confidence, self-integrity, and compassion. Our workshops strive to awaken our inner sense of play and encourage the artistry of the craft. Our residencies tailor our distinctive rehearsal process with the specific needs and wants of individual communities to create a one of kind theatrical event. LILA workshops and residencies may range from a one day intensive to a 6-month guest artist residency, depending on the specific project proposed by the hosting theatre. We work with Universities, professional & community theatre companies, high schools and private groups to develop programs that are unique to each individual sponsor.
