In Goethe’s FAUST you are invited into the prison of a fictional Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe’s mind as he battles to free himself from its dark and oppressive confines. Through the vehicle of “Faust,” Goethe explores the most forbidden of our inner lives – our loves, our longings, our perversions, our darkness as well as our light in search of his own identity.

With a tightly driven ensemble, Goethe’s FAUST fuses physicality and language, playing with the poetics between movement and words, images and emotions to bring Goethe’s world to life.

Supported by an exhilarating original music score by Nathan A. Roberts, Goethe’s FAUST explores theatrical worlds full of passion, magnificent characters, and extraordinary realities in an intoxicating blend of verse and movement. Here, in the depths of Goethe’s subterranean reality – where the language of image meets emotional truth – we are left to wonder: what is real and what is merely figment of a deranged mind?
